WILL TAKE PLACE IN MADRID, SPAIN
8 - 12 APRIL 2002
This meeting of delegates of Member States of the UN will formulate the Revised Plan of Action on Ageing – setting the agenda for action to respond to population and individual ageing across the globe in developing and developed countries for decades to come.

Under the general auspices of the International Association of Ageing with the support of the Novartis Foundation for Gerontology, co-sponsored by the United Nations Population fund (UNFPA) and with involvement of the World Health Organisation, Help Age International and hosted by the Valencia Autonomous Region Government and the Spanish Society for Gerontology and Geriatrics (SEGG) The VALENCIA FORUM will mobilise the RESEARCH, EDUCATIONAL and PROVIDER CONSTITUENCY across the globe to provide the scientific evidence base supporting the policy deliberations of the world assembly This will be the most significant and influential meeting on gerontology thus far this decade and for years to come You may organize or participate in a symposium, workshop or round table on key topics or you may offer a free communication to be presented as a paper/poster
